The Ticino Mountains have been one of my favorite landscapes for many years.
Whether in winter or summer, the mountains and the light are unique and I think here I find
the motifs that inspire me
to be able to realize my love for the mountains in photographs.
What fascinates me again and again when taking photographs in the mountains is the silence
and the incredible power that comes from these mountain landscapes.
Most of the photographs were created in absolute silence and solitude and pretty
far away from human civilization.
“When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs. When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence.(Ansel Adams 1902–1984)”
