"The Paradeplatz"

Nestled in the heart of the financial world, Paradeplatz rises up as a symbol of power and consumption, dominated by the facades of large banks and people in tailored suits. At first glance, the square seemed trapped in a rigi uniformity - the same faces, the striving for more. But behind this shiny surface, a multi-layered stage revealed itself, revealing both fascination and abysses. What I discovered here surprised me again and again - a mixture of deep amazement, rejection and unexpected impressions. The first impression of a cool, orderly world soon gave way to a colorful, often contradictory picture that captivated me. Especially during the lockdown, this place revealed itself with shocking clarity. The usual hustle and bustle died out and the financial world disappeared into the virtual world. The otherwise so present moneyed aristocracy lost its catwalk. But even in silence, the Paradeplatz remained a mirror of its time - a place of reflection and change. For five years, this square cast a spell over me and became my personal obsession. It was a time of intense exploration, discovery and self-reflection. I experienced moments that challenged me, but also those that made me laugh.
