Artist's Statement

PARALYMPIA

The photographer Alexandra Wey took photos for the KEYSTONE news agency at the Rio 2016 Summer Games and the Pyeongchang 2018 Winter Games.
At the Paralympics, everything is a bit quieter than at the Olympic Games. You are ‘closer’ and also have the opportunity to come into contact with athletes and coaching staff.
She was specially inspired and fascinated by the athletes.
